Nitrile rubber is prepared by lotion polymerization of butadiene and acrylonitrile. Nitrile rubber is mainly produced by low-temperature lotion polymerization. It has excellent oil resistance, high wear resistance, good heat resistance and strong adhesion. Its disadvantages are poor low temperature resistance, poor ozone resistance, poor insulation performance and slightly low elasticity.
Fluororubber is a synthetic polymer elastomer containing fluorine atoms on the carbon atoms of the main chain or side chain. The introduction of fluorine atoms endows rubber with excellent heat resistance, oxidation resistance, oil resistance, corrosion resistance and atmospheric aging resistance. It has been widely used in aerospace, aviation, automotive, petroleum and household appliances. It is a key material that cannot be replaced in the cutting-edge industries of national defense.
1. Specific weight. For the O-ring of the same specification, the O-ring of fluororubber is heavier than that of nitrile.
2. Combustion. Ignite the O-ring with a lighter, and the O-ring with nitrile will burn after burning for a while, while the fluorine glue will only smoke and not burn.
